Everyone say hi to Prince Aidan!
Here's he with proud mummy and daddy in the background.
Aidan is the handsomest baby, and he slept throughout his entire first month celebration! :)
Mummy Juleen has lost the weight in a month. 0_0" Tough to take care of a baby huh...
Photobucket
Ah ma is now a great grandmother. Proud moment!
Photobucket
Me with Baby Aidan. I was super stiff and I just didn't move a jot once he was in my arms.
Photobucket
Look at the beautiful package from Mervin and Juleen!
Photobucket
Inside is even better! Red eggs, kueh, rolls and even a little card!
Photobucket
I couldn't stop smiling at this photo... Well taken!
Aidan is a born model! grin
Photobucket
It was a really good gathering for the family... saw all my aunts, uncles and cousins again.
So many of them have blossomed and we're all 'aunties' and 'uncles' now coz of Aidan!
RAAAAAA :)

Came back home to change into leggings as the dress was a little short.
Here's a face pic!
Photobucket
Wearing Zara top, random old leggings, Dinsko boots and YSL Muse 2.
Photobucket
Raisa has on my Cubus zip tunic with bandage sandals.
Photobucket
Kristy has on a silver metallic tunic with FCUK shiny leggings and strappy flats.
Photobucket
We went for service together and I had a great time in church.
It was John Azanzini and I realized during the service that I've come home with more than enough. There's nothing I need, or want, I just want to give thanks to God, for giving me so much, for being so good. The word that was spoken also hit me, as I am reminded that obedience is better than sacrifice. I knew that, all the blessings I'm enjoying right now, are fruits of obedience, so I prayed that I would always have the fear of the Lord in my heart.

Sunday, 7th day that I'm home. I rushed down to Cathy only to have Enyi not turn up.
ENYI! After eons of years you are still bullying me!
It was a good thing Xiu had arranged to meet me there. :)
We walked Somerset 313 and then headed over to Killiney's for Chee chong fan.
YUMMY DURIAN CHEE CHONG FAN!
Photobucket
YUMMY CHAR SIEW CHEE CHONG FAN!

Photobucket
Went down to my grandma's for dinner after that.
How I miss ah ma's cooking! I stuffed myself.
Kristy was also there and we went back by train and bus. Which was really tiring!
Had to take a bus from Woodlands and there was a Pasar Malam!
Too full to buy Ramly burger, so I just took a photo.
Photobucket
Us in Pasar Malam!
Photobucket
Finally we're home and I'm super tired.
But let me just show you my new flats!
Cheap and Chio! Will wear them out tmr! :)

This is my update for days three and four!
Day three started with me ordering Macdonald's breakfast and having a jolly good meal!
Photobucket
After the heavy breakfast, I went back to sleep (pig I know)
Then woke up at 3pm to meet Raisa at Bugis!
We walked all over Bugis street to find me a pair of shorts.
Sadly, my thighs have grown too big to fit into all the hot shorts found in Bugis. :(
So I made do with a nice chinese sausage and a wig!! hahaha...
Photobucket
We walked to City Hall and shopped around, I didn't buy anything because... well...
Raisa is really good at discouraging me.
We're here waiting for Daddy as he tries on a shirt.
Photobucket
Dinner time! SUSHI TEI! HURRAY!
The two boyfriends join us for a family dinner.
Pow and Kristy acting shy.
Photobucket

So I wake up and go for my morning massage.
I had developed super stiff shoulders back in Sweden and this was just bliss...
Photobucket
Then made an appointment at Browhaus to trim my CMI eyebrows and got ripped off by purchasing their eyebrow palette. :( I love their service and tweezing but hate the price of their products!
Shopped around Taka, Wisma and Paragon and settled down for Takoyaki!!!
Photobucket
YAY! Had a sudden craving for it and I'm so glad to be able to just walk over and buy it.
Photobucket
Shopped around at Far East and tried on some clothes then headed down to Clark Quey.
Met Ben! and we walked MILES to this place where they sell really good ramen.
We had some side dishes first.
Photobucket
Here's the boy with a "wheres my food" face.
Photobucket
Miso Ramen! With extra egg. Their egg is FANTASTIC! So kawaii on your taste buds!
Photobucket

The stalker and I spending some time reading a Mole-y blog.
Photobucket
Here is our couple shot! You can see the reluctance on his face to take a photo with me.
Why? Cos I'm married and will ruin his reputation.
Photobucket
ME AND BUBBLE TEA!!!!!
I walked till my toes and heel hurt... it's been a long time since my feet had such sensations...
Shop till they ache.
Photobucket
Ok! So that's all for my second day in Singers!
You can see my face is super oily in this last picture. HUMID!
grin, oh well, I won't complain, all the shopping and food makes up for it!

The sweet sound of Singlish.

HI GUYS!!! I'M HOME!
WHOO HOO!

Welcoming me back was the sweet sound of singlish spoken all around me... ah... so comforting.
Daddy and Mummy decided to be nice and come pick me up :)
We had Xiao Long Baos at the airport.
I was seriously giddy (from the lack of sleep) but the baos were enough to keep me going.
Photobucket
Food Pic for Ku, Cindy, Seline. WHAHAHAHAHAA!
PhotobucketPhotobucket
The next day I went over to my mum's shop and went to do my hair.
PRAWN MEE for lunch! Whee :)
Photobucket
After 5 long hours of rebonding, treatment and a hair cut, I had DUCK LEG RICE for dinner!
Photobucket
After dinner, Chun Chong & Raisa came by and they dropped me off in town...
I did some major shopping while they caught a movie.
I LOVE SHOPPING IN SINGAPORE! OMG OMG.
Anyway, CC (Chun Chong) bought all of us tao hua and it was soooo good.
Photobucket
Photo just for KU! Hello fat one! I know you hate me now! I love you!
Photobucket
Now to show you my major haul done in 3 hours flat.
La Roche Posay Hual of.... cleanser, cell renewal gel, moisturizer, foundation, spring water...
Got some samples from the nice SA as I bought so much...
Photobucket
Mac Haul, Brush cleanser, blot powder, under-eye concealer.
Major pleased with the concealer, just the right consistency and doesn't cake.
Photobucket
Bought a powder. I think I bought the wrong one, I asked for Poreless, she gave me Pureness.
Sheesh. But then, it works great as well...
Photobucket
Since there are so many raves about the aqua eyes pencil I decided to get one as well.
Love it, works great.
Bought the liquid eyeliner, I don't know how to work with it.
It doesn't dry fast, and I blink often. Sheesh.
Photobucket
Anyway, as much as Sephora Singapore is a great shopping experience with a great range of products and equally good customer service, the prices there are SHAR REN FANG HUO.
There is at least a 25% extra on each product compared to their european prices.

Yep Yep!
I feel so happy to be back, today wasn't very hot, in fact, I did not even break out in sweat!
I got lost in Ion, and was only at level 1 and b2?? That was amusing.

OH YES! An interesting fact.
EVERYWHERE I went, I saw this bag. LV Damier speedy.
At the counter at Copenhagen airport, I saw 2 women carrying this bag at the same counter.
Today during my 3 hour shopping spree, I saw 5 women with this exact same bag.
Of course they are all different people, aunties, tai tai, working girl, executive, all carrying this.
I can only say that...
CONFIRM PLUS CHOP I WON'T BUY THIS BAG!

sheesh
oh a happier note, I do feel that Singaporeans dress quite nicely in town...
Nice selections of bags as well, Coach bags without monogram, Chanel cabas & jumbos, a few Bottega Venetas and many interesting Gucci pieces.

Will do daily updates on my blog! Stay tuned! :)
Oh yah-
Why haven't you seen my face on the blog yet??
Wait la! I just had my hair done today, and my fake eyelashes have yet to arrive in the mail.
wahahahaha, ok fine, maybe tmr I'll post a photo of me.

Coming home in 5,4,3,2...

Ku has been walking around in his brand new Homers and he's loving them. :)
Looks dumb but keeps his feet nice and toasty.
Photobucket
I went out today and bought myself a bib.
Love love! They were so costly, 299kr (S$60) so I'm super glad it's finally on sale! GRAB!
If I reach Singers and find a same jeweled bib for lesser I'll... I'll... oh well...
This one's really nice at least :)
Photobucket
Leaving in a day for a day and a half's flight... sigh... I hope the airplane food is good.
Time really flies, and I'm sure my month back home will be over sooner than expected.
Really thinking if I should lug back my SLR for photos...
HMMMMMMMM

Maybe I should just take my trusty portable Canon.

Ku is good to me!

I had wanted this pair of shoes from Opening Ceremony for some time...
Love everything about it except the price. It costs US$625!?!?
Photobucket
Then came many variations of this shoe as it was super popular.
But the variations were not as nice... neither were the price tags, still too ex...
Then Scorett came out with these! Total love!
They cost a fifth of the original price :)
Photobucket
I'm wearing them around the house now because i love them so much!
Christmas came a little early for me this year...
cause Santa Ku was in a good mood :)
Photobucket
Some other drool worthy shoes from Scorett.
Photobucket
Photobucket
I love my new babies! Hurray for Christmas season!

Just eating and shopping.

My nail polishes are finally here! I've got Mod About You by OPI on my nails.
And I'm in love with them! It's pink with a bluish tinge, not milky pink, more like pale barbie pink.
Photobucket
Random shot before we head out.
Photobucket
Ku and his dish. No Dim Sum on fridays! SAD!
Photobucket
I had Yakiniku beef. Not bad, not bad.
Photobucket
We shopped at the large new mall after lunch and it fantastic!!
It's like a mini-stockholm! They even had Mango there :)
Gonna show you my new pair of shoes in the next post...

YES! I can finally get heat tech!

Also available at the 313@somerset store are more key innovative designs from UNIQLO such as the new and improved HEATTECH collection is launched in a tropical climate for the first time. It features eight benefits for its wearer.

FINALLY! I had been trying to get my hands on UNIQLO's heat tech clothes for the longest time! Last year when my cousin visited London during winter, I asked her to buy me a few pieces of heat tech from Uniqlo. But there wasn't any at all?! Winter and no heat tech around? Well, I went to London myself in July and once again, despite visiting a few main outlets, there were none to be found. DEPRESSING!

I need to keep warm! I'm the type of person who sucks all the cold from the surrounding into her body! 99% of the time, my hands and toes are cold. The 1% when they're not cold is when I'm filled with alcohol.
Yellow HeatTech Crew Neck T-shirt Image Red HeatTech Scoop Neck T-Shirt Image Purple HeatTech Leggings Image Navy HeatTech Sleeveless T-shirt Image
SO THE TIME HAS COME! Uniqlo is going to open a new store at Somerset on the 3rd Dec. You can be sure I'm going to be there to snap up the pieces and wear them to death in Sweden! Hurray hurray!

Love is a sob-fest. (at times)

In relationships, we try not to argue, quarrel, fight and debate over stuff. That is my policy for friendships, I try never to step into a quarrel and if we do disagree, I'll rather apologize and resolve it fast.

Not with my lover though. Anything can set me off, if I'm in the mood (the wrong one that is).
But this post isn't about the quarrels... this post is about the calm after the storm.
I love the really pathetic scene whereby we both are so exhausted after shouting and the tissues are all over the place and someone wimpers

I'm sorry...
This is the part I get all teary and start sobbing out all the real stuff: "sobsob, i just felt really sad hic today and i took it out on hic you... sobsob"

The husband will look at the disheveled lump on the floor and then open up his arms and say "I still love you baby..." and I go crying into his shoulder and will cling there for the next hour.

-----
This of course, is a hugely embarrassing scene that would never be reenacted outside the house. Though I'm sure, every couple has moments like these. And when I have these moments, I feel like my life is a film. It's so drama-rama that it's romantic. It's so Bridget Jones and Darcy, so Jerry Mcguire, so... yeah you get the idea.

They say I look like him.

Yeah, if my hair was in it's original state, you wouldn't be able to tell us apart.

A little more than skin deep.

Ever wondered why members who go into NS/study overseas/work overseas always find it hard to adjust back to cell group when they return after a period of absence?
(notice they have no problem with going service, it's always CG that they have a problem with)

Most of the time people think it's because, the new environment changed them, influenced them and therefore they are so hard to work with when they're back.

But the truth is, we don't belong anymore.
What's the latest happenings? Who is with who now? Now's the season of??

When you sms a NS guy, do you just ask the typical questions and say the typical things?
"Are you doing well in camp? So how? Can book out? We got outing this weekend! Looking forward to see you lei..."

When you msn a overseas student...
"Hey! How's life in Aussie? Fun or not... oh.... ok.... so when you coming back?"
1 month later:
"Hihi! How's you? good or not... oh... ok... so when you coming back?"

When you msn a overseas housewife...
"Hello! When you going to have kids?"
1 month later:
"YO! Coming back already? Come back with presents and a kid!"

----
Ring a bell? or bells?
---

Anyway, I now know, what all these NS/overseas students are thinking about:
WHO ARE MY REAL FRIENDS?
Why am I in a church full of acquaintances when I can be having dinner with my real friends? I don't care about the person who called and asked about my day generally... I want to be with the people that had chatted with me, talked deeper stuff with and shared equally. Why should I give a fig about your vision or what you're excited about when we're not even that close?

Ok, it's not like anybody treated me badly while I'm in Sweden ok! I'm super loved!!
Being away from everyone, in a way, forces out the truth of where I stand in people's hearts.
Everyone wants to feel important, wanted and loved.
My members (and some ex-members) have been more than loving towards me, msn-ing me to the point of pestering, talking to me over the phone, sending me the latest songs and emailing me back and forth. (kidding about the pestering!)
My ex-colleagues have also made me feel like a queen, msn-ing me when they can, letting me in on the latest news and that makes me feel so belonged and included!

On the other hand, however, I did realize that some whom I had thought close, ahh... oh well, seems like we were only co-workers that are placed in the same group.

Being away from home has taught me to appreciate the friends I have, the people who press in and the ones who cared. I am truly thankful for each and every one of them. For their time, for their trust, and for their friendship.

I will wear colored sports bras.

I came across this super weird article on the internet...

Sure, it's an old article and reported from The Star Online (malaysian news site) so I know it's CMI, but, it totally reminded me of the good old days in school...

I'm just going to jot down the typical stuff that I went through and I think most girls experience in a girls school.

You know you're from an all girls school when:
1. You wore colored sports bras to school.
2. You know lesbians/butches/passives etc. and you were one or all of them before.
3. You hemmed up your skirts, pinned your belts low and wore oversized blouses.
4. You speak chinese funny.
5. Your dream is either to be a successful career woman or a TAI TAI.
6. Your boyfriend is from ACS(B/I), RI, SJI, but try not to get Chinese High.
7. You've kissed/sat on/pinched the nipple/unhooked the bra of your classmate before.
8. You sit with one leg up/crossed legged/legs open in class while the teacher is teaching.
9. You have rich friends who are chauffeured to and from school.
10. You dream of having a daughter so that you can send her to your previous high school.

Allright, I can't think of anymore.
Let me know if it rings true! hahaha...

Ads are killers.

This is how I got my new bag lust. From an ad...
I peered and peered at the Chloe Paraty bag for a good 15 minutes when I first saw this ad.
I love the size, the handles, the shape, the colors.
Well, the ad itself isn't very well done, if you look at it carefully, it seems over-photoshopped.
And! The front two models are super in focused but the last model's face is blurry?!
Ok, but you can't see it from this small picture.
Told you I peered for 15 mins.
57158_Chloe_fw2009_1_122_1080lo
Then here it comes again... jumping out at me.
Ad dict: Chloe Fall 2008 fashion
And once again...
Ad dict: Chloe Fall 2008 fashion
So you know what, I'm really loving this bag right now in my mind.
Will be trying it out if possible, either in Singers or London, to see if I really do like it on me.
If it's going to be on my mind for the next 1 year, I'm going to get it!

Why 1 year of waiting? Have to be super sure I will carry it a thousand times! Haha :)
Will not throw all his money on a bag at a whim! Of course, if Ku lets me buy it earlier, I will!
And I know that the Paraty bag came out last year, but this bag just reminds me of my old brown bag that was in a similar shape that I wore to death! I bought it at Far East for about $50, and sadly because it's not made of good materials, it had worn out after a year... sob.

No, not the python one for me though, I already have a lizard embossed Muse 2.
Plain Black or Chocolate leather would be perfect now.

Dedicated to you who waited.

Nail Polish update...

ok I am such a brat! and soo loved :) Someone(s) is buying me the China Glazes so please don't buy them for me if you're thinking of getting me nail polish this Christmas! Someone is also buying OPI Get-in-lime for me now! LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

And since I went to eBay and saw that Chanel's Jade nail polish is selling for a whooping US$50 - 100+ !!!?!? I have decided to say PLEASE DON'T BUY ME THAT MAD EX THING! Only people with too much money can buy...

Er soo, what do you think of this? NICE??!? Orange Fizz! Looks so pretty... But then I'm sure I can find cheaper dupes to this... It doesn't have the shimmery particles that most of Chanel polishes have....
Or this? Vendetta. Ok u know what, I seriously want this. Reminds me of Nikita.
SOMEONE GET ME THIS! (TAKEN!)
This last one is pretty good for work/nudes. Django. What a weird name...
